Hello! I would like to introduce myself: my name is Simone. I was born in St. Kitts (in the Caribbean) until I was 3 years old. I moved to Montreal, QC because there was a better education for me. I lived with family in Montreal for about 16 years and then moved to Toronto, ON. I attended E.C. Drury School for the Deaf for 5 years and then when to National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) in Rochester, NY for 3 years. I moved back to Montreal for a few years and then found work in Ottawa, ON where I still live and work. I love my job.I have had mild asthma since the fall of 2011.
I have 2 inhalers due to a persistent cough. In June 2015, I was diagnosed with mild osteoarthritis in my right knee, both thumbs and lower back. I also have undifferentiated connective tissue disease.
